of personal service. Laurie Davies has earned the reputation
as a true professional amongst her peers in the wedding industry.
Having been in the hospitality industry since 1981, which included
management at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Laguna Niguel and General
Manager at a popular bay side restaurant in Newport Beach and
Dana Point. She also held the position of Catering /Coordinating
Director at the Private Monarch Bay Club in Monarch Beach,
it was only fitting that Laurie took her experience and expertise
and started her own company as a professional Wedding Planner.
Having managed at these venues provided Laurie with a strong
work ethic and instilled the highest of standards in herself
and her company. Laurie is both a Member and Ambassador of the Association of Bridal Consultants. She has also been chosen to hold a position on the Steering Board Committee which oversees the ABC.
Having had the opportunity to work with over
600 couples, Laurie has found that every bride and groom is unique
when it comes to the planning of their special day. Her philosophy
is that this is the first official party the bride and groom
are putting on for their guests as husband and wife.
The goal of Five Star Weddings & Events is
to assist each couple in designing A One of a Kind Wedding that
will reflect their personalities, life style, family traditions
and spiritual beliefs. Hearing a guest tell the bride and groom
that this was the Best Wedding they have ever attended gives Laurie
great satisfaction knowing that the couple has exceeded their Wedding
